Charlie, the self-proclaimed parmo inventor, is a judge for the second time in the World Parmo Championships being held on Teesside on October 11th 2008. The other judges are Alastair Brownlee, BBC Tees presenter, and Eugene McCoy, owner of The Cleveland Tontine.
Teesside's famous parmo is made using chicken or pork fillet in breadcrumbs topped with bechamel sauce and cheddar cheese. They were originally topped with Parmesan which led to the name.
