Great Ayton Fete

The Great Ayton Village Fete will be held on Saturday 12th June 2010.

The theme for the Floats and Fancy Dress will be “Celebrations through the Years”.

At going to press preparations for the Fete are in process. To date the following has been confirmed:

  • Children’s Sports from 10am on the Low Green (organised by the Great Ayton Conservative Club).
  • Float and Fancy Dress Parade from the Low Green to the High Green from 2.15pm.
  • Carnival Fun Fair (rides and games), Miniature Train rides.
  • Music performed by the New Skelton Brass Band.
  • Stalls including - tombola, cakes, cookies, preserves, children’s toys, name the toy, bran tub, children’s raffle, bric-a-brac, crafts and greeting cards.

The Parish Council would like to encourage and welcome any local Charity, School or Organizations to participate and join in the fun, whether this be by entering a float, organizing an activity on the High Green or having a stall.
